A Stable Place to Live. Clear Expectations. Room to Rebuild.
Recovery housing is more than a bed. The environment you return to every day can either support the work you are doing or make that work harder.
Cherry Hills sober living is designed to provide eligible residents with a substance-free home, clear house expectations, accountability and connection to recovery support while they build greater stability.
Residents are expected to protect a living environment that supports recovery.
Shared Responsibility
Everyone contributes to the care of the home and respect of shared spaces.
Clear Expectations
House rules, schedules, visitor policies, testing requirements and other expectations are explained before move-in.
Recovery Participation
Residents are expected to remain actively engaged in an appropriate recovery plan.
Accountability
Problems are addressed directly. Expectations and consequences should not be a surprise.
A Path Toward Independence
The purpose of structure is to support greater stability, responsibility and independence over time.
Sober Living Is Not the Same as Treatment.
Recovery housing provides a recovery-focused place to live. Clinical treatment provides assessment and therapeutic services. A person may participate in outpatient treatment while living in recovery housing when that combination is appropriate, but they are separate services with separate requirements.

Each Cherry Hills residence has its own location, capacity and house details, while following the organization's core recovery-housing standards.
Recovery housing works best when expectations are clear from the beginning. We do not want residents learning important rules after they have already committed to a home.
Cherry Hills residences are substance-free environments. The complete substance-use, testing and return-to-use policy is reviewed before admission and provided in writing.
Residents may be required to participate in scheduled or random alcohol and drug testing in accordance with Cherry Hills policy. Before move-in, we explain when testing may occur, how results are handled and what happens if there is a concern.
Yes. You will receive the current written curfew and overnight-pass policy before admission.
Yes. Residents share responsibility for maintaining the home. Household responsibilities are part of living respectfully in a shared space.
Yes. Residents can work or go to school while living in recovery housing. Our goal is to support routines that move residents toward greater stability and independence.
Visitors are subject to the visitor policy for the residence. We explain approved times, areas and any restrictions before admission.
Medication needs are reviewed individually in accordance with applicable law, safety requirements and house policy. Do not stop a prescribed medication in order to apply for housing. Tell our admissions team what you are prescribed so we can explain the relevant policy.
Safety comes first, but a return to use is handled under the residence’s written policy rather than through an unwritten decision. The response may depend on immediate safety, the circumstances involved, the resident’s needs and applicable residence requirements. Applicants receive the relevant policy before move-in.
Length of stay depends on the residence, continued eligibility and your individual circumstances. Our team will explain any minimums, maximums or phase requirements before you commit.
Residents receive information about their rights, house policies and the process for raising a concern or appealing a decision where applicable.
