You do not need to know the name of a program or the correct level of care before calling us. Tell us what is going on. We will tell you what we can provide, what information we need and what the next step is.
Questions about cost should not be an afterthought. Before you begin a service, our team will explain the known charges, what we can verify about coverage and what you may be responsible for paying.
Accepted Coverage
Medicaid (Health First Colorado)
Private Insurance
Coverage depends on the service and your plan. Send us your insurance information and we will confirm what is covered before you begin.
Does Medicaid Cover Every Service?
No. Accepting Medicaid does not mean every Cherry Hills service is covered by Medicaid. Coverage depends on the service, provider, eligibility and applicable benefit or contract. We will explain what applies to the service you are requesting.
Do not see your question? Call (720) 999-7528 and ask. There is no commitment in asking.
Getting Help
[ACTUAL POLICY.] Many people contact us directly. Some services may also receive professional referrals.
A family member can contact us for general information. Your participation and consent may be needed before we can discuss personal information or begin services.
That is normal. Start with Get Started and tell us what is happening. We will explain the appropriate next step.
Treatment
No. “Outpatient” covers different levels and intensities of treatment. The appropriate level depends on clinical assessment and applicable criteria. Cherry Hills will explain the specific service being recommended rather than assuming every person needs the same schedule.
There is no meaningful one-size-fits-all answer. Duration depends on your needs, progress, continued-service criteria and treatment plan. Your clinician should discuss this with you throughout care.
Peer Support
No. Peer recovery support and therapy have different roles. Peer services focus on recovery support, practical goals, connection and lived-experience-informed support within the scope of the service.
Sober Living
No. Sober living is recovery housing. A resident may also receive clinical treatment when appropriate.
Yes. Residents are required to attend recovery meetings. We will explain the meeting requirements before move-in.
Medication needs are reviewed under applicable law, clinical considerations where relevant and residence policy. Do not discontinue a prescribed medication simply to meet what you believe the housing rules might be. Contact us and ask about your situation.
Call us for current fees. We will explain deposits, payment timing and what is included before you apply.
